UAB “Kauen Craft” Export Expansion

On July 12, 2024, UAB “Kauen Craft” signed the financing and administration agreement for the project “UAB ‘Kauen Craft’ Export Expansion”, project code No. 02-036-K-0073, under the measure No. 05-001-01-11-04 “Implementation of Export Competitiveness Growth-Promoting Measures” under the activity “Promotion of SME Internationalization and Identification of New Export Markets (Central and Western Lithuania Region)”.

The project’s goal is to enhance the competitiveness and internationalization of UAB “Kauen Craft”.

The implementation of the project will strengthen the company’s position in foreign markets and increase export volumes, leading to greater brand awareness and a growing client base. The expected project results (increased turnover and export growth) will have a positive impact on both the company and the country’s development.

Project financing: The project’s budget sets the maximum amount of eligible expenses at €68,615.00, with up to €34,307.50 provided from the European Regional Development Fund for 2021-2027.

Project implementation period: May 2024 – May 2026.

COVID-19 Product Manufacturing Expansion

Under the 2014–2020 European Union Funds Investment Action Program, Priority 3 “Promoting the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises,” Measure No. 03.3.1-LVPA-T-859 “COVID-19 Products LT.”

Through the implementation of the project, the company developed the production of essential products for combating the COVID-19 pandemic, thereby expanding the range of the company’s products, increasing sales and export volumes, and enhancing the company’s competitiveness in both the Lithuanian and international markets.

Funded by the European Regional Development Fund. Funded as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Implementation of production digitalization technologies at UAB “Kauen Craft” Stage II

According to the measure No. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-854 “Industrial digitalization LT” of the implementation measure of the 3rd priority “Encouraging the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises” of the 2014-2020 European Union Funds Investment Action Programme.

As a result of the project, the company’s production of soft drinks and kvass was fully automated. The implementation of the project allowed the company to increase labor productivity, sales and export volumes, and the company’s competitiveness in the Lithuanian and foreign markets.

The equipment purchased and installed during the project allowed to reduce production costs, use resources more efficiently, and apply the most advanced solutions in the field of soft drink production.

Enhancing the skills of employees at UAB “Kauen Craft” and UAB “Druskininkų Rasa”

UAB “Kauen Craft”, together with its partner UAB “Druskininkų Rasa”, implemented the project “Enhancing the skills of employess of UAB “Kauen Craft” and UAB “Druskininkų Rasa”. During the project, the applicant UAB “Kauen Craft” and the partner UAB “Druskininkų Rasa” trained 140 employees of both companies, who improved their qualifications and acquired specific knowledge.

The project was implemented under the 9th priority “Education and training for competitiveness” of the 2014-2020 European Union Funds Investment Action Programme.

The project is co-funded by the European Social Fund.

Creation of product designs for UAB “Kauen Craft”

The project aim was to create and update the designs of the products and their packaging. UAB “Kauen Craft”, whose brand “RASA” is the oldest known soft drink brand in Lithuania, has used its existing experience to create and update its product designs. The company implemented the project “Creation of product designs for UAB “Kauen Craft” No. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-838-02-0011″ under the measure 03.3.1-LVPA-K-838 Design LT.

The project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

The project aims to automate the company’s soft drink production, thereby increasing the company’s labor productivity, product range, sales and export volumes, and the company’s competitiveness in the Lithuanian and foreign markets.

Embracing solar energy: UAB “Kauen Craft” installs a 700 kW solar power plant

UAB “Kauen Craft” has taken a significant step towards sustainability by installing a 700 kW solar power plant. This investment enables the company to generate a portion of its electricity consumption from renewable energy sources.
